Did you know that many of our Dentists R Us dental professionals offer BOTOX? They do! So no more having to run to one professional for your BOTOX treatments and another for your teeth whitening treatments …now you can undergo both services in one convenient location!
What Is BOTOX?
BOTOX® Cosmetic is a prescription medicine that is injected into the muscles in your face where your furrow lines are becoming increasingly noticeable. It is used to improve the look of moderate-to-severe frown lines between the brows in people 18 to 65 years of age, and is a temporary solution to facial wrinkling. It works by blocking nerve impulses to the injected muscles, and by reducing muscle activity that causes moderate to severe on your face.
Does It Work?
Anyone who has undergone a BOTOX treatment will attest to its age-defying abilities.
Because BOTOX has the ability to stop your nerve impulses from reaching the muscle, it creates a temporarily smooth and improved appearance between your brows and the smile crinkles around your eyes.
How Long Does It Last?
BOTOX is a temporary treatment that can last up to 4 months.
What Is The Process?
BOTOX injection treatments are quick and simple, and you are usually in and out of the chair in around 15 minutes. The entire process is virtually painless, but of course it varies from patient to patient depending on their pain tolerance levels.
Will It Make My Face Appear “Artificial”?
The skin around the injection site will appear more smooth, but your general facial expressions will not be effected.
So at your next dental visit, be sure to ask about the BOTOX treatments offered at your dental office to find out if this process would be right for you!
